Take an Awareness Trip
Take A Life-Changing Journey To The Dominican Republic
With this being my 2nd Awareness Trip to the DR, it was extra special to see how things have grown and continue to develop through 2nd Mile Missions and their partners. Monte Verde now has a well, the church has a new roof and the kids still have the best smiles ever! Experiencing Hope Academy was the cherry on top of an amazing experience. We witnessed staff and students in action and they are incredible. It was very apparent that the students are getting a quality, Christ-centered education, are cared for, loved on and establishing self-worth and spiritual foundations. I can’t wait to go back!

Why Take An Awareness Trip?
The best way to understand the needs of children and families in the Dominican Republic is to experience the impact of education and spiritual enrichment in the lives of impoverished children and families firsthand.
Awareness Trips are a powerful way to learn, serve and make an even greater impact on the lives of the people we serve.
These trips take place several times a year and are open to sponsors, donors and anyone who is interested in partnering with us or serving the needs of 2nd Mile Missions.
The average cost of a trip is $1,600, though this may vary based on travel costs at the time of your specific trip.
